Delay start is a joke

For some reason Frigidaire seems to have decided people buying this oven wouldn't need to delay starting to cook for more than a single hour. That is the case whether you try to use delay start or Sabbath mode. I even contacted customer service and was pointed to the owners manual which only mentions delay start as it relates to self clean. The customer service rep informed me that is because that's all delay start is for .

Updated kitchen 30 year old appliances. Black stainless is what we wanted and multi method of cooking including meat probe. Works well for large hams and brisket with probe to prevent overcooking . Looks good compared to outdated old oven with knobs !

Bought at best buy at a premium since 27™€ is the out going standard. It was still cheaper than modifying existing wall to fit the much cheaper 30™€. Installed in to the wall but having done the rough opening measurements and checking against the online specs I knew it would fit. However I would like to see two slight adjustments, one on the power cord placement as it comes out the top left corner and interfere with getting the back of oven into wall and the other for adding some 6™€ more wire length. Also there is a ton of plastic tape on the panels a bit over kill. Ince installed powered up and did the 30min burn in. Smoke alarm didnt go off and frankly the burn off was uneventful other than mild smell. Using the keypad ti set the time had me stumped as I didn™€™t have all digits available. Then I realized the touch scrolls waLa! For the first break-in bake I had to do chocolate chip cookies. Set oven to ™€œno preheat™€ temperature and time through in cookie dough. Ending in the maximum recommended time and the cookies were all evenly browned. Success!! Then I tried single serve beef Wellington using the temperature probe. By the way dint preheat oven before trying to use the probe. Yeah didn't read the well written manual. Oops!! Meanwhile I found the probe to be 10degrees (less) than my portable probe. But in all fairness I may not have had it perfectly centered in the 2™€ tall steaks. In the end the Wellington came out perfectly after pulling probe and checking via myself. Overall happy with the purchase.

I am loving the Gallery wall oven. I have been using it for holiday baking. We love the air fry feature. The only complaint I have is when baking cookies if you use the timer it will shut the oven off when done. I wish there was a way to keep the oven on for baking cookies. My previous wall oven I think was original to the house (over 30 years old?) so buying this oven with all its bells and whistles has been great! I like the sleek exterior design that complements my kitchen. It makes the exterior easy to wipe down when cleaning. The concealed burner in the bottom is also very nice because once again, it makes clean up a breeze if anything spills. Since I bake bread, having the steam baked has come in very handy. And given that this oven also has a food dehydrator function and air fryer function means less appliances to clutter my kitchen.To use the air fryer function, you have to use an air fryer basket and unfortunately, you have to buy it separately. I feel this should have been included with the purchase. But I bought one (less expensive than the Frigidaire brand that you would have to buy separately) on Amazon and it works great.Overall, I think I've tried all its capabilities except maybe for a couple and have been very pleased. I just got this oven less then a month ago so I can't say anything about its long term reliability. But I'm hoping because Frigidaire has been around for awhile, I'll have it for many years.

Have yet to air fry yet but sous vide works great as well as baking. The dehydrate feature works great to keep food warm without cooking too. Lots of options but the touchscreen makes it super easy. Very simple to operate.

This is an excellent oven. It has features we didn™€™t even know we wanted. Pros: -air fryer and trays included -easy to install (according to contractor, but be sure to double check electrical needs and relay to electrician when looking for a quote) - lots of presets -bright light -does not got hot to the touch when oven is on, great for kids and a Saint Bernard!-compact enough for a small kitchen with still tons of room inside for a big dinner. Great for holidays and entertaining. -heats up quickly -easy to use and navigate digital panel Cons: if you use the timer it automatically shuts off the oven when the timer is done. Not great for making multiple dishes or batches (ie cookies) I didn™€™t knock off a star for this as we have a timer on a fridge that is voice activated. So not a problem for us.

The wall oven is installed and we think it is great. However, we bought a built in microwave oven and trim kit that is still not delivered correctly. A trim kit was delivered that was damaged. It was also the wrong size (30" wide instead of 27" wide). Now Lowes is trying to find a trim kit that fits the oven.

Already waiting for replacement parts after 1 month

Pros: looks good Cons: doesn't work, only time it heated up reliably was the initial heat up to bake off all the extraneous stuff. From then on it was a crap shoot if it would preheat to the programmed temperature or randomly turn off if it actually hit the temperature. So then 10 days to get a repair service, then another 10 days to get a replacement part (hopefully), and then hope that it is fixed and not a lemon for the next few years. This is their top of the line wall oven!

When my old oven died it was only 27" wide so that kept my choices limited for replacement. I was thrilled to find my new Frigidaire with all the bells and whistles. I'm loving the convection and air fryer. Haven't tried any other features as I've not had it for very long. The only complaint I have is that the inside is smaller then my older one. I can no longer get my Wilton bacon pan and Blue Jean Chef sheet pan in the oven. It is probably due to the added sidewalls needed for the "bells and whistles". These pans are oversized but everything else works fine. Wouldn't trade this oven for anything else.

Display screen is crooked

It's annoying that the display screen is crooked. Other than that, the oven works well. Good interior capacity for its size...big enough for a large turkey. Air fryer works well.

We had an older version of this oven that suddenly quit after a few years. Clearly a slow learner, bought a new one. In a couple of months the slide rack (on its second use) popped a spring. The oven cannot maintain its temperature and I have to remove food and preheat repeatedly for cooking times more than a half hour or so. That™€™s without opening the door. If I open the door, I pretty much have to start over. I™€™m a stay-at-home who cooks daily, bakes all my own bread, etc. so this is huge. So absolutely disgusted and disheartened. I™€™ve warned all my friends to never never never buy this brand.

Surprisingly excellent

Over the years I had had mixed feelings about my Frigidaire appliances and have recently been switching to other brands. When my wall oven died, I wanted to upgrade to a 30™€ double wall oven and just do away with my microwave. The space I have would accommodate it with some modification. However, finding any double wall ovens right now is impossible. After a few months of searching and waiting I resigned myself to keeping a 27™€ single wall oven™€¦.I™€™m SO GLAD WE MADE THAT DECISION! the new 27™€ wall oven has about 2™€ more interior space with the same profile - I can fit my favorite roasting pan in the oven again! It also has more features than I could have ever imagined. Telescoping racks, settings of all manner and time, air fryer (?!) and solid performance, which is most important for me.The oven works so well that we are cooking more. Even heating and the option for total convection is fantastic. All of this for under $2k is amazing.Lastly, the stainless steel really is finger print resistant - which I have often found disappointing in other appliances.This oven has put Frigidaire right back at the top of my list for kitchen appliances.

We were updating our kitchen but keeping the cabinets so unfortunately didn™€™t have the room for a bigger oven. I was initially thinking it would be a waste of money but I™€™m very impressed and so glad we decided not to keep the old one. I love the different modes, the quick heat up, the air fry mode is great too! I managed the crispiest chicken wings I™€™ve ever been able to bake!
